Grew up in SW MO...familiar. Good luck! Did you decide on the pole division with System?

OK, I'll ask the rookie question: "What's the pole division?" What are the benefits, challenges, etc.?

Big P had sent me this info about the pole division in another conversation: "Got some more info about System and seems there pole fleet/division is very busy 2500+ miles per week. Also it pays a higher cpm then most of the fleets. They apparently run utility poles and when not running that they run all other freight."

I believe they stay out a bit longer than some of the other flatbed fleets, but I don't recall at the moment how long. I am sure Big P will have additional info as well.

They primarily run utility poles in the lower 48 and Canada. It is considered to be one of the best divisions with System as far as miles as they also are used to fill in for other divisions. It has a higher cpm than regular OTR flatbed divisions. I was actually told about it from an existing driver.. So that really the benefits. But from what I have heard the only division I have been told anything negative about was the Northwest dedicated.
