I think I'm going to bow out of this one... I don't think we're on the same page as the other. Either that, or I'm missing your humor because I don't know you that well.

Either way, my qualm is only with the newest breed of pilots who aren't nearly as well equipped to pilot a plane if the plane has a problem in the air. That is not to say anything of the older, and/or better equipped pilots.

They'd probably charge 10$ for the sticker...go to radio shack and make two of them for that price. :p

Just applied for a couple more jobs up in the northern area... I'll do a few others next weekend, but the only one I've had bite was a trash truck. I'm debating getting back to them...

Going to finish up some chores and then get some rest for tonight...

By the way, for those of us with sleep apnea...there's a new treatment on the way. It's actually causing quite a bit of buzz, but I see issues with it working in the truck due to noise levels...

After the holidays I'm going to look into it further and *might* contribute to the kickstarter if I feel it has potential.

Talk to you all later, stay safe!

Now now....I think you might be taking this a little far, don't you? I don't think he is saying any 'idjit' can fly a plane, only that advancements in technology have created situations where pilots don't know how to handle emergency situations because of something that had been automated and therefore they had no or little training in what to do if something goes wrong. I watch 'air disasters' all the time and a LOT of crashes or near crashes happen because of that very scenario. Let's all take a deep breath and remember that we were all younger once. I remember when I was a kid thinking my father was an idiot but then something amazing happened. The 'older' I got the 'smarter' my father got. ;)

    $2.95 ea.

It might be a bit different if "junior" actually had managed to log an hour or two...

In trucking, stupid mistakes are frequently embarrassing. In aviation they're deadly... that's the penalty for poor training.

One of the hardest truths in life to admit and accept for most of us lol

Superseded only by the harder to accept and admit realization that the older I get the more like him I become in the good ways.

The long running joke among pilots is that the level of automation will reach the point where only a pilot and a dog will be required to fly the plane.

The pilot to monitor the computers......and the dog to bite the pilot if he touches anything
