I have flown a plane under the tutelage of a relative... No, it isn't the same as taking off and landing and surely doesn't make me an expert. I only say that to show I'm not a stranger to this, but also that is the level of experience I have. No more.

...so from experience, you're much more versed than I. And I respect that. However, and please don't mistake me here, I do not believe any idiot can fly a plane.

People's minds barely work in the "2d" versions of transport that we call roads. A pilot is keeping track of so much more, plus any incoming information. So under no circumstances are pilots considered, "any idiot."

@Rock 'n Roll Relocater has my point pegged. Not everyone can do it. I'm much more concerned about new pilots out of school because the computer handles so much of what used to be done by hand or mentally. What happens when that system fails and the pilot doesn't know how to do it by hand?

That, is the lack of skill I refer to. I can tell you how a nuclear power plant operates, but I don't have the know how or skill to build one, run one, or know what to do in event of a catastrophe.

Does that ease some of what you're thinking? I really mean in no way any disrespect.

    That's funny...

The wife modeling her newest attire.

She found a whole new collection of trucker wife shirts. No telling how many of these I'll end up having to buy since she already has all the other ones lol

lol I'll get her to post the source when she gets home later tonight. She had to make a run to the ex for the kids. She just kept feeding me pics of different versions a couple weeks ago. Told her finally just pick what she wanted and get it lol. I think there's about 40 different ones in this online store she found.

Don't blame you, I'm jealous of the ones who have flown as well.

Don't blame you on the mildly part either. I don't think I'd be mildly jealous of me at all...:biggrin_25523:
