Not surprising. The industry is heading that way in an effort to get more drivers. Werner has been putting a lot of them on the road the past few months. The students I've had that got them wished they had a 10 speed.

They are chasing the golden goose that lays the golden MPG egg. Fuel Mileage. Automatics get better miles per gallon than a stick when an inexperienced driver is at the wheel. It makes sense for Stevens to go down that road. I don't mind an auto, fewer super truckers are objecting to them these days, they do make life easier in the big cities.

I am in an auto shift now. It's not terrible in the city. On the highway, once you get in top gear, there really is not much difference. The two areas I am not thrilled with it are driving in mountains and backing up.
This is the first auto I have driven sj CE the Army in 1985. -
KMac Thanks this.

16 forward, 2 reverse... Just get to the rpm range and shift, no clutch pedal. 2100 rpm going up, 1700 coming down. -
Stevens!

I-40 is a major lane for stevens. I saw over 15 steven trucks heading west to Cali as I was heading east bound.
SHOJim Thanks this. -

What happens if you don't sign the contract after you get your cdl?

Are you talking about Stevens school? If so I think you sign contract before you get your cdl. If I am wrong someone please correct me.
