When I went through the process I found out Schneider has a specific recruiter assigned per region and ONLY they could work that region. When my recruiter was slow I'd called in and asked for help from other recruiters but was told they weren't allowed to help me because of the way Schneider has it set up.
So I'd guess that's why some are treated differently, maybe some regions Schneider really doesn't want/need drivers in that's why you get calls back and person on the previous page doesn't. Just a guess.
Still you have to get approved and go through to the process before they even let you know when they have openings. That part sucked even for me. They didn't like giving out lots of info
