General disclaimer:
If I'm having a bad day or something ticks me off in going to say so. If I'm upset I'm going to share that. It doesn't mean that I need anybody to put an "S" on their chest and step in to save me by telling me what to do or second guessing everything I've ever said based on a passing emotional state.
I don't recall ever bad nothing my dispatcher. I've been pretty upset with the company, specifically the power struggle with Heartland. But my Dispatch team is truly the only reason I didn't leave a month ago. They're the main reason I'm even considering sticking around.
Say what you will about me, disagree with me, you have that right as this is an open public forum. Some of you think I'm some sort of an idiot for still being here, and that's fine. I'll most likely fire back sometimes, but it's all in fun. If it gets personal I didn't make it that way. I'll read your PM's and posts and still enjoy a good meal with you if we ever meet up at a truck stop.
But please avoid putting words in my mouth. My current dispatch team has gone above and beyond helping me navigate what turned out to be an unfair persecution that has been remedied.
Winter happens, whether you're in the mountains or shut down in Nebraska from high winds or parked in Michigan because the roads are one big sheet of ice or buried under 17 feet of snow in New England. Nobody likes it, but that's no reason to go second guessing your own preferences.
So there.
I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

I feel a chill in the air. I'm going to put on a sweater. Waiter fetch me a little more salt for my margarita, that's a good fellow. Winters in Tucson can be brutal.

Additionally, post was meant for humorous purposes. Sorry it didn't come through. My humor requires a physical component. Or people just like laughing at me. Either way, I'm good.Dominick253 and Captain Zoom Thank this. -
I'm touchy on account of nervousness about going over this mountain pass empty. Stopping at Walmart in Rifle CO for a few supplies and bathroom break.
BRSIMS, point well taken and we're canceling the anvil fly by.
TB JOHN, point well taken on first post.
TB JOHN and FLATBED:
THBTHBTHBTHBTHBBBBB! I freezing my Yassoff.
(FLATBED--I feel for you; at least I have roads to work on)Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Slow down. If there's room at the top, stop, put your 4 ways on, keep her in a low gear and ease down the old girl. Going up the pass is worse empty than coming down. There's nothing pushing you. If you start spinning out, keep calm, put her in a lower gear. Lock your power divider in as well. You'll be fine.
