Wonder if those are the same ppl that cover their Hazmat placards to go thru the Eisenhower Tunnel on I70 so as not to have to drive the 26 mile Loveland bypass around it in the snow during winter time?!!

My recaps are causing issues to get a load. I am hoping they get a load on me off the yard here in Vegas to Washington. I had it earlier but they are still thinking about it.
I finished scheduling some meetings with an accountant when I go in for time off to get set up with them as a client in preparation for February and this lease. I also decided against a full blown APU and bought the IdleSmart system. They had an end of year promotion that was pretty hard to pass up. I think it will work well for my needs. I have to pick that up when I go in for days off too. And I have to get this tattoo finished. Another 7-8 hours in the chair for that. -
I wish you luck bro and hope it works out well. Keep us all posted, I'm off until next Monday (By choice) and ill be scarce around here due to the holidays. Stay safe bro, Marry Xmus and God Bless. -
Here lately I have been smelling something horrible coming from the truck. Today I was sniffing around and it was coming from the battery area. I open it up and one of the batteries is smoking. Waiting on the shop guy in Vegas to take a look. So annoying; I woke up early to beat traffic and now I'm stuck.

I found that out today. Had to go to Petro and got 4 new batteries. He seems cool but all he does is road ready checks.

Fighting weather here lately. In Portland now and dispatch says it's slow. Just waiting on a load. It has felt slow all month but I got my 10000 miles so I'm not worried. Hopefully get something taking me East but I'm not confident that will happen. The Monday fuel update is in and I'm at 8.01 mpg on my Knight fuel. I was thinking I was doing horrible. These last two trips were fuel hogs.

I did get a load back East but when I arrived I was told it is for tomorrow. Get to hurry up and wait and get it tomorrow. An easy run just became a tight one.

Hopefully the weather will be better this week. I parked it early last night when the roads were getting bad and just shook my head when I saw other drivers heading out. This morning I counted 18 semis in the ditch between Iowa City and Des Moines with one of them being a Knight driver.
