Got over it with no issues and when we got to Wyoming the roads were beautiful (they have plows and use them).
Shutting down early while the parking is good, 30 mi from shipper. Pick up in morning and deliver in Kansas City metro Thursday evening (I hope).Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Parked on packed snow/ice. Might have to hang jewelry in the morning, my tires are nice and hot and are melting themselves a nice groove.
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
If you have room , give them a chance to cool then pull ahead a few feet get out of the melted groove

No room right now, but we'll see if that $#@&!! moves by the time I finish dinner.
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Management came out and got the horse's ### who backed with .0000327268 inches of my front bumper and went straight to his sleeper to move. He didn't hit my truck (christened The Blue Wonder) but if I had a Christmas wreath on the grille he would have smooshed it.
He ignored me when I knocked on his door. I spoke with the cashier, saying I'd rather avoid calling the cops, but I need to move in the morning. The manager heard me and stepped outside. He moved. He left.
He didn't have to leave. There were like six spaces all next to each other, just about 50 yards away. Straight line back.
I understand tired. But, really? Manager said it was probably because wifi works really well where he parked.Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Egad, four--count 'em, FOUR snow storms today. As in four discrete events. Took me all day to cover 420 miles.
My butt hurts--I need a cushion for my driver's seat.
Payday is early this week. Got a decent check. Few of these in a row and I'll be out from behind this eight ball that's been crushing me against the rail between the hard place and the rock against the wall with the door with the wolves at it.
(Try it out loud--it really is funny, trust me! )
Tomorrow it's a quick shag to a local grocery warehouse (bleagh) then drop the empty at Coor's and back to the yard for a load going all the way to Salt Lake City. If I can do it all by close of business Friday I'll get paid for it next Friday.
All hinges on the whims of the Grocery Overlords. -
I really--REALLY--hate waking up 25 minutes before the alarm goes off, ESPECIALLY when I just got the third button on Denise Richards' blouse undone! AND SHE WAS SMILING! SHE WAS HELPING!!!!
Meh. I'll just get started on this double drop and hook. It's cold out.Dominick253, TB John and albert l Thank this. -
TB John Thanks this.

Actually she pointed, laughed, and said, "You can't even get lucky in your own dreams!"
