A moderater has to approve my post???

That's really strange then. Filter list usually just stars the offending bit out. For example.. We had an issue with idiots spamming Court TV.. So I added Court TV to my list and whenever someone type it, all that showed was ***** **.

Moderating a post is more severe and usually not as fine tuned as catching something in a URL. Gonna go dig some more.. **chuckle**

 

Hmmmm.. Unless there's a wayward plugin that's doing this, I can't find anything in the general settings that would cause this. Curious.. Gonna note this and do some more digging later.

 

I have a hack installed that catches ANYTHING I put in there from people spamming us called PREVENT SPAM. I may have to go all through it again as I think one thing is catching stuff that doesn't have anything wrong. I've had to use a lot of ingenuity to stop some of these ######## to be sure as they try almost anything to get through and are RABID. Heck, we even have LAWYERS come in here...we watch them read the rules...then they spam the blogs and posts ANYWAY! And they are LAWYERS!!! So, I'll get it tweaked so that doesn't happen as much here soon.

That's good. I'm new and just responded to a post and linked to safe stat to back up my claim to their number of power units.

Thought I might have missed a rule somewhere.

Spammers is what's up with it. I have had to set triggers for spam and if you post something that triggers it, we will have to approve it. Sorry, but spam has gotten out of control these days and we simply won't put up with it anymore. I DID have it set to not check members over certain posts until we saw even that abused, so now we all have to deal with this. Like that old saying goes...others ruin it for all. I would rather shut the site down than be a host for spammers and free advertisers. It is not you, it is because of the CONSTANT spam we have to endure.
