Way to call me out while I'm being lazy ;) it's true, I am normally booked at least a week out. I have booked myself just a few days shy of a month out. For those asking how it's done? I know this thread is long but it's been stated many times.

I'm not searching the load board ATM like I normally do, but rates looked a little down this morning, then I realized I didn't have my filter set. Lol. Now things look better but I'm really not looking for anything until next week. Not much there but the weeks after that I can make a killing, might have to nab some of this loads and see if I can fill the gap.

It's funny, now that I have a payment and know that I've already covered the next two months of payments it's harder to motivate myself to run then when I didn't have a payment. Hopefully it's just me enjoying the holidays cause I'm not sure I can handle working 2-3 days a week long.

That's exactly what I did. I should've asked the agent if the shipper was the place that make the bank safes and vaults because he only needed the top covered and let me use my 6ft drops but he always orders 8ft tarp trucks. Oh well. I wish it was more freight that paid good enough for me to order 8ft drops because I don't mind doing it but it comes with a price that I've yet to see justify me buying some

I would buy 8ft lumber tarps in a heartbeat but I never seem to find them. Good prices online but if I ordered them and wasn't home the day they came I would have to move to the dog house (and buy one).

I did pull the trigger and grab some loads for next week. 3 loads 260 total miles 2.3k no tarp. Not to bad for about a 36hr period. I might call that a week. LOL. I have gotten super lazy.
