Several years ago I was traveling westbound on I-40 thru downtown Memphis, about 2miles before the Mississippi River bridge. It was about 3 am and an old gas-guzzler came around the corner going eastbound in the westbound lanes. I hit the brakes and pulled to the shoulder and he flew on by like it was just another day. There were very few other vehicles on the road at that hour but it was scary none the less.

I remember a few years ago sitting in the PA Welcome Center a few yrs ago on I 70 coming from MD, I seen an elderly couple going west in the eastbound lane. I ran out onto the interstate and got them to stop. Luckily a tour bus seen us in time, stopped, and helped me get that couple turned around.

Sounds like my experience last winter. Just picked up my new snowmobile at the dealer and was heading home in my pickup and covered trailer. Come around a corner and there's a snowplow coming at me. I moved over as far as I could (3" more and I'd have been upside down in the ditch). How he didn't tear the side of my truck and trailer open with his wing plow was beyond me.

    OK, I'll ask ......

Originally, I thought the extra 6 at the end was there because you were posting a follow up link to the story chico9696 posted. But, since that was an error, you were posting the exact same link as chico9696 posted a mere 4 hours earlier. Ummmmmm ..... Why?

Just trying to wrap my head around it.
