I drove for them from 1984 - 1989 ..... remember when JB Hunt tried to undercut us in the north Jersey area by guaranteeing 7am Monday morning west coast delivery on any Friday pu for a $1.00 /mi rate to the customer ? cheap freight contributed ,but the policies that were implemented by JH had alot more impact..also with Joe paying more & more attention to outside interests and cutting himself out of a lot of the day to day decisions / oversite of company operations didn't help either.....the lawsuit over that accident that that trainee had, the divorce, the IRS .. JH's policies threw the stone that became an avalanche........

In 2000 i started with MS Carriers. It was a good outfit. Then we were gobbled up by swift. A very rocky transition.
