you would be surprised, if ya call coporate office, complaining to location doesnt do much good. what needs to be determined is if the original shop did something wrong or something else has happened, but either way i doubt they spring for a tire, but get a good price by calling mercer. by the way what brand tire is it?

So, since we'll be at Mercertown in 2 weeks, what are some decent places to eat at night. If the menus have marked gluten free options, that's a bonus. (I am coming w/ hubby because 2 heads are better than one, and I have never done well with 2nd hand information. Plus, since I will be doing the logistics side of this endeavor, it seems prudent.)

I did email corporate, but it's the weekend so if I don't hear from them by tomorrow, I will call as well. I get the store not honoring it since it is over 30 days, but I would think corporate would. The store I stopped at said if it was their call they would, it's obvious it was bad. He offered to discount it some, but I'm going to try to get them to cover it all. I'd be happy with a 50% steer, I mean it wasn't new so I don't expect a new one, but I want one that is at least somewhat comparable. -

BTW you going with him is really going to help him. Way to much info is brushed over for a normal person. It should make the transition to learning Mercer that much easier. And there are a ton of wives in the lounge after class that will make you feel like part of the family. Welcome aboard.DragonTamerBrat Thanks this. -
The only way one tire would wear is if they adjusted the camber on that side, which they have to bend the axle to do. If they shimmed that side and changed the caster the wear should be on both edges of the tire.
Check the other steer tire. If it's worn on the inside while the one you are talking about is worn on the outside, that means the tandems are out of alignment. If both insides or both outsides are wearing, that is incorrect toe or waaaayyyyyy too much caster.Razorwyr Thanks this. -

10-4 on that @spyder7723. I have always used a local tire/alignment shop and never had any problems. I know what they say about alignments every so many miles, but it is hard for me to mess with something that is wearing the tires even....
