Depends heavily on the area and if its a single or multiple store owner around here anyway. I made more then double that some years.

It should have paid a minimum of 50k plus a demo for a rookie manager. Owner sucked badly.

    Pintlehook and MJ1657 Thank this.

Have a Sears seat in my truck. Now that I have learned all of the available adjustments, I love it.

Money's in sales if you do it right. Problem is what the gentleman said earlier when he mentioned the dealer principal going to prison--lack of integrity among ownership and upper level management. One of the reasons I gave up on it and wound up as Captain Zoom. I tried a few places after the owner at the Mitsubishi dealer died--no joy whatsoever. Bunch of crooks, whiny little princesses, or both.

You don't need experience to sell, it's a skill that can be learned same as trucking. Whether you thrive will depend on your work ethic and personality.

Made it to Lamar CO and started feeling pretty nauseous, pulled into that big Ambest on the west side to take some Alka-Seltzer and bed down. Only about 350 miles to go by 1500 tomorrow so not worried. Hoping the med and some sleep fixes me up.

I'm in this weird dark side/non dark side situation at a commercial vehicle dealership..

Turn wrenches but work very closely with the sales department. Spend a lot of my time doing new truck processing....

The dealership world is a very, very strange one and I'm not sure I want to keep sticking around it...

Truck stop where I spent the night is between the Prepass transceiver and the actual weigh station. So, I got a green light last night, but pulled into the truck stop before passing the scale. Now it's morning and if the scale is open I have to go in. I wonder how many people they've gotten this way?

    Dominick253 Thanks this.

Go out headed in the opposite direction then turn around so you can go underneath the transponder again. You gotta always be thinkin to stay a step ahead of those sneaky Colorado Scalemasters.
