DM's are like mentors in a way.
There are some very good ones and some very bad ones.
The bad one's usually have a god complex, like someone just mentioned about certain mentors.
He has been my DM for over 4 years, and I would not trade him (or any of the people at Otay Mesa) for anyone.
I live in MN now, and the people at Inver Grove have always been very good to me as well. But I see no greener pastures than what I have right now.
That even goes for other companies.

The biggest secret out there is how much does a DM make? Never could get that info with 100% accuracy. I will never drive for Swift again. Sure they pay better than some, but there are many other reasons and they are people reasons. -
Who cares? Neither of us work there anymore just call it like it is.
Ed is more than just the crane scheduler he heads the gary/east coast flatbed division. He was a pretty fair dude in my dealings with him. Jeanette was one of the laziest and least helpful people I dealt with. Dave and Perry are miserable people and I know of multiple drivers who have quit because of their BS.
But I was a phoenix driver and any time I had a problem I could talk to Chris morgan, Chris drown, or brett Stewart and I would be taken care of. These were all good dudes and the reason I stayed with swift flatbed for as long as I did was because of the great support I got. And I left on good terms. But I saw gary as a cancer in terms of morale and driver treatment that's why I figured you were a gary driver under Dave to have the experience you did.NavigatorWife Thanks this.
