I have a few space heaters in my apartment and they work like a charm. Great for small places (and I'd imagine a truck) . Here's a list I found of some popular space heaters http://ceramicheatersreview.com/ , hope it helps.

Then they should also know that they are not allowed at all.

    https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/regulations/title49/section/393.77

    (6) Portable heaters. Portable heaters shall not be used in any space occupied by persons except the cargo space of motor vehicles which are being loaded or unloaded.

I doubt any space/portable heater could be powered by any inverter for very long.
It would drain the batteries very quickly and you would be back to idling.

    Why are we heating Space.

Another giant waste of taxpayers money when there is homeless people on the beach in Miami almost freezing.

Remember that purchasing a space heater for your truck is tax deductible expense.

That's a very good question. I say we get congressional hearing, get BIG NASA to explain this. This is an outrage! Then after we get the NASA big wigs to testify. Then we haul big heater to Congress and then have them testify.

Then we should have a study to have the effects of space heaters warming up space that might be causing global warming. We should probably set aside at least 300 trillion dollars for this study. Who's with me.

This is what any sane politician would do........

    Moosetek13 and tommymonza Thank this.
