That's pretty much any area if you stay within a certain region you can do fairly well on all miles its whenever you leave a reason to go to another region is when the rate drops

I once had that happen where no matter what I couldn't slide it. Totally broke. So I told the dispatcher I'd be in violation of the bridge law. He asked if I was going over a bridge. I never laughed so hard. Then I had to explain the law to him. 99% of the time you'll never get ticketed for it but I'm not giving dot any reasons during a level one ya know.

So if you had to spend eight hours doing that with no pay you'd be cool with it? Even if it happened regularly?

I find between vice grips, hammer, and spray grease there's no tandem I can't slide if I want to. However I'm not crawling around in the snow and rain to do it. Not my job. A red tag is much easier for me :)

Hey @freightwipper I know you were just here...I can't remember if Schneider covers tolls in Kansas? I'm leaning toward no...but I don't feel like breaking out my laptop to check online. Lol

I didn't think so. They are easy enough to run around anyway.

    Kansas tolls are pretty cheap.
I've been off the road a few years, but they were cheap then.

I think the most expensive toll is running 35 all the way. Something in the neighborhood of $20-25. I ran the toll road from the OK border to Wichita and it cost me $5.

A light weight day cab can do it. Yesterday I hualed a 47k and a 46. Both legal all the way around. Don't get me wrong. One pin hole would've put me over. Anyone know how accurate the air pressure gauges are though? I've always heard 60psi on the drives is 34k. Just curious.
