Cool, I've got it all added up now. Can we count the nights we spent in a hotel due to mechanical issues as sleeper berth deductions?

Days worked 100% perdiem are those days that I woke up and went to bed in the truck.
Days worked 75% perdiem are those days where I either left home or arrived home.
Days local work were deliveries, short runs or shagging trailers where I left home in the morning, returning that night.
Days off are 24 hours off at home logging 0 miles. I did no 34 hour resets on the road either year.
I made about 5K less this year than last and ran almost 12K less miles. This is also my lowest grossing year of the last 5.
I pretty much ran what they had for me this year. I asked for lots of weekends off (didn't miss a home Carolina Panther game) and went on a family cruise. There were a few times I was off when I wanted to be running. At this point in my life I value home time more than a few thousand bucks so I am actually enjoying the modest slow down in freight at our terminal. If the downward trend continues that is cause for concern but for now I am enjoying slowing down a bit.Last edited: Feb 19, 2016

I used the info you posted and I got a nice tax return. Those sleeper berths help a ton. I'm glad to have some of the money I earned returned to me.
