Got a kenworth T700 stuck in neutral. Happens like every other day. Shows a service light on the automatic transmission. Took it to Kenworth they plugged computer up & found no issues. But there is a problem because it keeps happening. Any suggestions???

Push the brake? Lol.. But could be a sensor thing. Its hard with automatics because there is so many sensors and parts on there that really you have to let it break to fix it.

I know you push the brake. But the service light is showing on the transmission.

Might just be low on fluid.

Maybe XY shifter harness ? Had similar issue on volvo . Dealer replaced XY shifter and harness. But I think harness would fix it.

Do you shut off the truck with the transmission in gear? I've been told that can cause the transmission to stick in gear and it won't go to neutral when you try and start the engine again.
