Where did you mount that cooler At? Did you do it up front by the condenser and radiator or under the truck? And on the fuel lines did you use the an fittings that you assemble yourself? Non crimp? If so do you have any leaks or is it all solid. I've built man fuel lines ect for my desert car but I know it's not super high pressure. I can get aero quip fittings from a local dealer of mine.

Q: Did you do it up front by the condenser and radiator?
    A: Yes.

    A; Yes.
Q: If so do you have any leaks?
    A: none.
Pressure on your Cat is around 100 psi, so not much there either, on boat engines they use push on barb fittings and never any air problems and they are the same engines we use.

Cool I have a ddec 3 Detroit. And it looks like I'll be able to do the lines my self then. Pretty stoked on that. So you just have the fuel cooling off before it returns to the tanks?

Yes, and the tank doesn't burn my legs any more, since I wear shorts most of the time.

Got all my new fuel lines replaced, now its time to get truck fired back up. How should I go about doing this properly so I don't inadvertently mess something up cause I didn't prime fuel system correctly. I still have the hand primer pump on fuel filter head that is attached to the engine.

Open all the valves fuel up all the filters with transmisson fluid pump the hand primer till it gets hard then fire it up do not touch the gas peddle just lit it iddle u touch the gas u will just suck the filters dry
Just let it iddle when it starts
U can use diesel to fill ur filters but rember ur sending non filterd diesel straight to ur injectors that why i use tranmisson fluid
    Theres my two cents worth

    NightWind and bigguns Thank this.

Cool fuel bunches up the molecules so it takes less fuel to power the engine in other words it is more efficient. There was a big argument with the big refiners about "hot fuel" at the truck stops being that the fuel is hot the molecules are spread out so a gallon of fuel was really like .85 of a gallon but everyone was paying for 1.0 of a gallon.
