You realize when loads run the board its a 10 minute deal? Its a crapshooters taking a load and hoping for the preplan.

does not what the load is paying or where it ends up matter or just the 250 deadhead, you also have to consider your rough board position, in preplanning if you continually go for the cherry loads, your success rate is lower, trucks already empty take the 5k no tarp loads to good area. While a 20k 4 foot tarp with same rate falls in your lap, and 350 mile deadhead may yield a good load going to a great reload area. Youbalso know you cam commit to more than one load at a time right, and you don't have to be matched or offered a load to commit to it. My wife finds more loads than me or my coordinator together. You have to learn to use your coordinator as a piece of the pie,not the whole pie.

A lot of those 4 digit guys are technology resistant , and set in there ways, I know some who never access the loadboard.

I already knew the answer, I was just pointing out that the forum rules didn't apply to everyone equally. The 2 of you were going back and forth pretty good, nothing bad or threatening said on either part, but he was the only one of the 2 of you that got banned. So you can't really assume he did something after the thirty day ban, you have to assume he just argued with the wrong cool kid.

Here is the link for info regarding states that permit auto socks for trucks and cars.

    http://autosock.us/products/regulations/

Auto socks are easy to use. Takes seconds to put on. However......if the weather is that bad I use the snow socks to get me to the first available place to stop. Snow socks are not made to run on bare road.

If you want more info message me.

The Qualcom is only worth it if you run teams (IMO)

The JJ Keller works just fine. (aside from the installation issues) I plan on nerd rageing at JJ Keller tomorrow about their ECM port plug.:biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516:

I understand the logistics part of booking the freight. I know that if I cherry pick then more than likely I'll end up having to cherry pick my next load. I don't go after gravy train loads every time because that will hurt you in the long run. Well if you don't really care about sitting then I guess it won't hurt you. But I'm not used to running a load an sitting 2 days only to get another load an then sit two more days after that. But the crazy thing is for the guys who actually practice the "art of cherry picking" the loads don't even pay that well enough to hold out on an cherry pick. My coordinator honestly thought I was gonna sit in Arizona an wait 6 days for a 1.50 load that was gonna take me back east. Heck no!
I'm no stranger to filler loads to get me to my next spot but I'm not gonna wait a week for a filler load. In that case I'll just bounce out of there an try to make up some of my losses on the way home from sitting All week

    MOGLAR Thanks this.

Arizona is rough. Ya almost always end up bouncing into cali for a load.

Stay east of 35 and you won't ever sit longer than the following morning.

Was just going to say this. It's nice seeing those big grossing loads, but when it's slow I take that number and divide by 2, cause you may just sit for a bit.
