My truck is set up that way. 67 on cruise and 69 on the pedal.

I also have that radar that keeps the buffer so if I encounter a truck going 66.99 mph, I'll let the radar keep pace.

As far as the flashing goes, if you wanna hit the brights during the day, hit Em all you want, no issue. But at night, reach down a little lower and turn that know to the left one click and back right. If you can't seem to put yourself out that much, THEN DON'T DO ANYTHING AT ALL!!!! Thank you very much..
There is nothing courteous about getting a dose of bright ### lights when I look in the mirror to make sure I'm clear.
And actually the rule was, grab the mic and say " your clear driver"..... oh wait, you have to have a radio for that......

    Too
Too much of that Me, me, me attitude right there.

Too bad I don't have to deal with the struggle of passing in a governed truck anymore. Feel sorry for all you others that has to put up with this kind of behavior on a daily basis.

I guess probly the only other thing that grinds my gears is all the faster trucks start picking on the truck that's trying to pass simply because truckers like this one and the other one are too proud and selfish to ease out of it. Back when I had to do this, I didn't give a hoot less what the reason for bein passed was. I backed out and let them have it. There's no use bein a dick about it and keeping them over there for as long as you can. They're faster than you are, no matter what you do, you ain't gonna change that. Be courteous. Be safe. Be nice. Treat others as you'd prefer to be treated.

If they are not significantly faster, they are better off just settling in behind. 1/2 a mile faster than my cruise control is not significantly faster. I don't mind being passed, so there is no ego involved. Just don't expect me to adjust my world to fit your world just because you want to get in front at only 1/2 mile per hour ffaster so you can get to the next highway exit 3 miles up the road.

I think it is absolutely rude to try to pass when you take 3-5 miles to complete it and expect everyone you try to pass to just slow down for your princess axe.

Not talking about you "you" in this case is all the slow passers out there.

In 100 years that will be vintage historic Americana video. People will be fascinated by how we lived. Think about 100 years ago-- we are appalled people went out on the ocean and killed whales for oil. 100 years from now they will look in awe at footage of vehicles going down the roads spewing toxic poisons into the atmosphere. "didn't they know they were killing themselves?", they will rhetorically ask.

More of that me me me syndrome. When you're in your personal vehicle and you roll up on a another car just meandering along, you just whip out there and put them behind you. In the truckin world, some of us don't have that opportunity. We all oughtta work together, man. What if you needed to pass? Wouldn't you appreciate it if the one you're passing let off it a little so you can go around or are u just gonna settle in behind them for the rest of your shift or until they turn off? It goes both ways, man.

They're not asking you to adjust your whole world, just 20, 30 seconds to get around you.
That's the world we live in with all these governed trucks. Don't make it worse and add to it by holding them up and everybody behind them. They're not holding you up.
Oh, I know. I guess I'm just reflecting on the frustration I went through when I was stuck in a governed truck and now when I get caught up behind the snail drag race when I'm trying to get on my merry way as well.
