Here's a older one, only went 6 miles. Still I think I watched my mirrors more than the road, and never broke 35mph.

20160314_124428.jpg 20160314_124449.jpg Skided coils eye to the sky. Would you do the back bulkhead like this? Only way I could get it all the way up against the skid. It feels sturdy. Coils are about 3500 lbs each.

    Hey Chewy

Haven't had any luck on finding a local gig? What are companies telling you?

Most of the local gigs by me are tied to construction so they keep saying call us in the spring. The ones that aren't say their looking at better candidates. Mid may I'll have one year with this company so I'm shooting for that. This summer we're probably going to move closer to okc so that should give me more possibilities.

Well that back bulkhead made it from toledo oh to Walcott IA without coming loose or moving at all. Had the thought once I was rolling that I should have just put 2 on the first 2 layers to widen the base.

    ShooterK2 Thanks this.

I think you would get enough securement by crossing 2 straps/chains on the back skidded coil to stop movement to the rear and a trip chain on the skid if your still worried.
