I'm about to graduate sophomore year and I signed up for all honors classes next year along with college level social studies LOL.

What do you enjoy doing? What are you good at? Answer those 2 questions first, and you will find your path. There are no shortcuts. Find what you are good at and try to do it better than everyone else.

Not necessarily the money aspect, but wanting to turn 18 so I can finally enjoy myself. I just don't want to get stuck with a crappy job along the way, and make good money in the future. Enough to live a comfortable life.

Hmm... I like the idea of building things. So maybe engineering or architecture? I believe architects are the ones who do the planning though.

Finally, someone agrees with me on this. Most are skeptical, but I've witnessed it many times in tanker/hazmat jobs. When I worked at Tankstar the terminal where I was hired two new cdl grads and they both made $65K their first 12 months solo.

And yet, 21 is the age that you become a 'real' adult.
Many at the age of 30 haven't found adulthood.

I'm 60, and I'm still as ignorant as you in some things.

It doesn't take turning a certain age to be able to enjoy yourself.
And you will have many crappy jobs along the way. No way around that, I'm afraid.

What you need is the find the center of what you are most interested in.
    After that, everything follows.

Thank you :) apparently there's only around 2k users registered on here. I had no idea there was so little since I get replies fast lol. I hope to be here for a long time to come. It'll be nice to see where I am in years to come and look back on this. This forum feels like a second home to me. Probably my favorite on the internet.
