@rickybobby as soon as you asked on his thread if he "got banned" the mods locked his thread following that comment.
    I think that's a clue.

Along with his profile shows up as...

Looks like his pin got pulled or he went bobtail some where after dropping and didnt check the jaws. He came REAL close to losing it totally.

Have you ever forgot to lower the landing gear before dropping? That feeling when you hear it hit the frame and wondering why it's so low. Thanks to Schneider training I always pull forward till the 5th wheel plate hits, then move on.

Slipping out just out from the plate but over the frame also allows you to check to make sure the legs hold.

Or see if the trailer slides. Last winter we dropped on an incline. I knew the trailer would lean once dropped so I had my trainee leave enough space and give a few extra cranks on the landing gear before pulling out. We pulled out and I had him get out and look at the angle. Not bad, but noticible and we were talking about the importance of looking up and down, not just left, right, front and back when the trailer started sliding to the right. Craziest thing I ever saw. Hopped back in and decoupled quick before it made contact (had to stop and crank the landing gear down some more to get under). Yard guy came out and asked what was up. Guy didn't believe me until I showed him the drag marks in the ice.

Swift IC 3rd attempt. First 2 involved scrapping the front pole, note the wet tire track from attempt 1 and 2. 20160401_113017.jpg 1459528787334842091347.jpg
