Highest paying load all next week in the lane is $1.10 hazmat load with two days on it, live load/unload.
Telling you man, it's cheap down there.
If you wanted to be home every weekend and stay close to home doing those cheap loads you won't do very well. -

That's what i do and I'm in TN and which is a whole lot better than LA.
If i went home every weekend I'd be leaving sooo much on the table.
If I stay out 3 weeks and then take a week off vs being home every weekend. It's a $2000+ difference in my income over the peroid. It's that big.
Staying in the good areas and working the money loads vs just trying to be close to home and be home every weekend makes a huge difference.Last edited: Apr 9, 2016
