He's dead set on doing it for some reason. Even I would like to hop in, but I'm holding off till next year. I would like to see how Interstate and Fed Ex board plays out. As a team Fed Ex is a better fit for me anyways.

It's not always how many orange trls you see...point blank, You have to,look at the big picture being an IC...like many of is here..one of the things about being an IC is doing things company drivers wouldn't want to do or lazy ics don't want to do...run in areas most don't care...also you have to look at what your cost per mile is so you know your bottom rate to make a profit...good luck...also you have to think like a business man if you want to run a busienss...while this program is great..it requires dedication and hard work trying to piece together loads that will fit in time frames and such...you're Not just a driver, but a business owner and also a load planner and dispatcher as well...

I forgot to mention that the recruiting folk tell us that we will make somewhere between 8 and 12 hundred per week bring home

That's BS... real world you could either earn $0 up to $3500 after costs. Sometimes even more.
    All depends on you!

If you haul cheap enough freight and deadhead far enough to get it you could have negative pay weeks lol

However $800 sounds about right if you go home every week and drive around LA
