I have a couple trucks over the road now and wondering if there are any services out there that will help with Vehicle Distance Reporting on each trip.
My drivers use Fleet cards so I know the gallons there using for the IFTA quarter but looking to see whats out there when it comes to the Vehicle Distance Reports
Any advice is appreciated.
Anyone using programs to track vehicle distance and IFTA??

I record my distance the old school way on the bottom portion of my paper log long form (IFTA/IRP Report), additionally use my Rand McNally TND 730 LM which has a mileage calculator feature. Can plug into laptop via USB, download and print report.
Dieselmydrug and flood Thank this. -
How are you keeping track of the state miles currently? -

I use linxup. (www.linxup.com)
They have gps with ifta included for extra fee.
I have regular gps right now, i can lookup any date and time where the truck past, which route and so on.
In the video on their website they show the plugin device. I have the hardwired gps, so there is nothing sticking out under the dashboard. Instalation is very easy - 3 wires. I know there are more companies that offer gps services, but this was the best option for me when i was choosing.Last edited: Apr 30, 2016

Drivers still need to fill out a trip report. I recently went through an IFTA audit and was told that they need a trip report from the driver for each trip.
