I've had a wrecker to my house 3 times....it sucks to learn.

In my defense though, once was because I was just unlucky bobtail and stopped while turning around right where my 2 sets of wheels that turn were hovering over mud puddles, the other two were on solid ground. Once I parked on solid ground and went out of town, then it rained for 3 days straight while I was gone. The other time I knew the ground off the driveway was soft, but thought I had parked on the driveway and one of my steers was actually in the grass and sank. I'm a slow learner, but the guys I call are cool about it, I think they've only charged me a total of $250 for all 3 incidents.

I guess I'm lucky the one time I parked with my steers to close to the house and they sank one of my neighbors pulled me out with his tractor

The bobtail incident, I was going to use my ex's minivan, but she threw a fit. The other two I kept trying to back up under some wood, downhill, in order to pull myself out, but unfortunately I ran out of room and pinned my trailer against my barn before I could get on solid ground either time. My barn only has about a 12 foot clearance and I was pulling a reefer back then.

With the flat, I just put it in my barn and park the truck on the asphalt pad in front of the barn. My driveway is all dirt, but there is about 30' of asphalt that goes from the driveway to the barn

Great! I have an eager beaver of a fillin today. He is calling me about loads that pay $1.63. I'm pre booked 4-5 loads I think I can wait a day or two for something that pays my current rate.

Well now that I'm awake I might as well do something.

You can tell your coordinator to not have floaters call, or set your parameters to a higher level. And no calls

I am a lucky fellow, my kid owns the local concrete plant, I get washout from the washout pit, plus. Between my late father in law and I, the drive leading in is well compacted after 3 decades of truck parking
