Schneider brokers loads to themselves and so do other carriers.
If you go through brokers they are taking a cut too.
Nobody likes it because we all want a bigger piece of the pie but that's part of the game.

You say "The Mega's control the rates on almost all freight, the loads on outside boards are usually the loads they can't get moved within their influence of operation for one reason or another(time, area or coverage)."
So in other words thats leftovers.
If someone goes out on their own and goes through brokers for loads, it's a lot of leftovers the megas didn't want/couldn't haul right?
How much of the leftovers will he super high $ loads then. Big money gets moved before the cheaper stuff!

All I'm saying is i compare the money I'm making vs other drivers doing similar things. We beach here about this and that BUT what I'm saying is it ain't better or much better elsewhere.
If it were I and many others wouldn't still be here. As simple as that.
I do my homework, if there were being money to be made leased onto someplace else I'd be there. Daddy wants to upgrate from a Viper to a Lambo lol.
If someone wants to show me someplace that has dedicated cross country loads paying $2.20+ PLEASE tell me, I'll sign up tomorrow ;)

The solution is for everybody to #### and deal with it or find someplace better.

Or better yet start your own mega carrier, get a bunch of cheap drivers, your own customers and make your own rules.

I vote for some more appreciation and gratitude.. There's many drivers out here really suffering. Overall I think we all still have it pretty good. Being an IC here though isn't for everybody. If i wanted to be home everywhere pssh I'd take a beating.

Just about every carrier out here medium and large have a Logistics side...that is essentially their booking company and, they broker the freight to,themselves and others that they can't cover..

Everyone back away from the edge. First off if you think for a minute SNI is getting 4.00 a mile and giving it to us for 1.35 you are wrong...flat out wrong. See Schneider may "sell" it at 4.00 then logistics takes a cut, saleman gets paid, blah blah until it gets to SNI I assure you all that internal wrangling is perfectly legal as those are separate companies etc and we get % from SNI period. You can request the contract etc from Schneider anytime you want. Think of it like this why would Schneider risk a class action lawsuit for NOT giving us IC'S the right amount? It would be game over for them.

While Schneider should have put a few touches on the contract ie no car, no after hours support, fire all dedicated IC's ...that I agree is chicken crap at best. Still the best deal out there...and I have my own authority and have permission to run my own loads and still run the IC board...I hate brokers, will I find a shipper I can deal directly with yes...when IDK

    Be Safe Out There
