Yes, I am. A company driver could if they are willing to work, and I mean work the 4 months before take the leave. Example, looking at tickets for my next trip in March and r/t is less then $700 from LAX to Manila. Again, it is all about planning. I used to do it back when I was a company driver, but then also the company knew what was doing before hired on so no surprises and I had their blessing
Hired 4 times and quit 4 times...they won't talk to me now!

The world has moved on. Simple as that.

Just a quick update for anyone who cares. I am back in the USA now, have been for about a week and a half now. As soon as I landed I started calling up trucking companies. It didn't take long to get an invite to an orientation. Did an orientation and am now hired again as a company driver. So there is life after Swift and they didn't put any fallacious stuff on my DAC.
Swift is an easy company to get hired on with, compared to the company I'm on with now. Don't even ask which one it is.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -

Sad you have to lower yourself to driving; hard to find a dry cleaner who can properly remove stains of hyper inflated ego from a space suit. Hopefully you'll be able to quickly move beyond this sordid industry and soar in the rarefied air of Olympus where your ilk deserves to rule.
I'm sure Werrner will be a good fit; albeit a short fit.dog-c and truckthatpassesyouby Thank this. -
Eddy?Eddy? When did you get here?
"I'm as surprised as you are Clark"!misterG Thanks this. -
