I was reading the 2012 section, I had not noticed the 1600 pages. thought it ended at 10.
My question is regarding how Mercer is now.
I heard from many drivers that the kids took over and as in all great companies founded by old timer with great values, the kids just get very greedy and the whole place starts going down the drain.
    Is this true with Mercer?
Are they still great to their driver? is the pay still real good for the Leased On?

I can't speak for everyone, but ive been here just over a year, no prior flat experience, and they've been great to me. Now, they gave me a quick crash course in load securement that I wish was a little longer, but most of it is all self explanatory and common sense. Looking back, it was sufficient enough, but for confidence purposes I would have preferred more time. Everyone tells me pay is down industry wide, but other than the winter drop in rates, I haven't really noticed, but then again, I haven't been pulling flat prior to this either. As far as taking care of the drivers, they definitely do that better than anyone else.

From Majority of the drivers and the whole staff in Louisville I couldn't be happier. When in Louisville there isn't one office you can't knock on the door and walk right in. And I won't get into details on the food lol.

He also has to learn to relax with a flat and enjoy the roses. Otherwise he should stick to a box.

Ha! One of the points I have been using to sell is less miles more money. He comes back with "same or more miles more money". SMH.

Your coordinator is supposed to know that, but that board you are on, may not tell ya stuff, that's been the policy for a very long time
