The Lord is Good
Dropped my trailer on the Memphis yrd, this morning soon as I was pulling in received a dispatch to pu in Ark going to Ga for Monday morning, about 700 miles total. Was told to grab an empty reefer from the yrd, looked around no empty shot dispatch a message.Waited about 15 minutes dispatch sent me a new load picking up at Volvo in Ms,going to Elkridge,Md for Monday about 1000 miles d&h both ends.Lonesome Thanks this. -
Now I hear more... lol
Someone please correct me but... The down side to doing it to the extreme is that when one swaps a load with another driver, and they are running "in the paint", the distribution of weight could be significantly different. And could be an issue for them at the first weigh station that they hit. If we run in the paint or close, then the scale and adjustment would be still close for them.
I could be wrong, just running the concept through my head... No actual experience.Finfn1372 Thanks this. -
Should be an easy weekend drive for you.
Stay SafeFinfn1372 Thanks this. -
MidWest_MacDaddy and Finfn1372 Thank this.

Midwest you do make a good point about scaling, maybe i'll move it up a hole or two.You know the reason I moved it all the way back was to give me more of a turn radius, you know some of the places we go into.

Only to be awoken after a few hours of slumber to the sounds of the revving engines of five motorcycles...
They were using the long flat concrete lot as a practice area doing all kinds of wheelies and tricks... I got up, watched the show for about an hour before they left.
Was a fun show... And free too. -
Yeah by the time I get up there will only have about 2 hours to drive, but dispatch said just make a copy of bol and drop it in 27 or 28,will probally end up staying the night.

Anyone ever paid out of pocket to fuel their truck?. Today was shaping up that way for sure.
Not a good start to my first ever solo run.
At least I learned some valuable lessons and still managed to salvage 550 miles from the time that wasn't wasted. -
Fueling your truck is wasted time???
LOLRedtwin Thanks this.
