No bank is making an unsecured loan on a 10 yr old truck. Something will need to be tagged as collateral, besides the truck.

CJndaTruck, roshea and Driverdad Thank this.

You won't get Pre-emissions with lone mountain anymore.

Don't be in such a hurry. Keep looking and you will find a good pre emissions truck for 10 to 15.

Edit to add: if it was me id be looking at paying cash for a pre egr series 60 or n14. And if that wasn't an option, financing a 14 or newer engine year dd15. From the guys i know running those, it seems that after over a decade they finally figured out how to make an engine meet epa regs and not kill you in maintenance problems. With your credit you shouldn't have a problem getting financed through a dealer, but it will be #### near impossible through a bank. The failure rate in this industry is ridiculously high so banks don't like first time truck buyers, no matter how good their credit is.

There are quite a few dealers offering flexible financing due to business being so slow. Also why does Mercer insist on a headache rack or bulkhead?
