Day two done. One more and im done with orientation. Ready to roll. Still trying to se if this one guy can train me. Seems to be pretty cool.
The simulator was a little crazy . Felt like I was driving on ice . But I passed road test .

I like reading this. Takes me all through it again. I had a rough going, but I look back on it with found memories.

I'm still a rookie, but it seems ages ago. Lol! I like to read the excitement the newer guys have. You made a good choice coming to Prime.

Investigating other companies, considering local, you read horror stories. The biggest horror story with Prime is the lease payments and the truck speed . Both are dismissals because you are making money unless you are just incompetent.

    Good luck to you guys!

I am now an official prime driver. Just waiting on trainer to do tnt. May not be able to leave out till Sunday night or Monday morning. Ready to run run run. Got fm from pittston pa. Haven't talked to him yet. But maybe tomorrow. Did find out he does not have lease ops on his board so gonna try to get him changed to the one my friend has here in sprimo. We shall see.
Overall reaction and feeling here not a bad orientation little confusing at times but it is good. Feels like I made the right choice.

Your Fleet manager will change to one they assign you AFTER training. Until then you will have whatever FM your trainer does. That's how it works. Never heard of either having a different FM at the same time.

This. Your trainer's FM is your FM during training. The FM you're talking to is just going to place you with a cat on his board. Keep that positive outlook and you will do fine. Welcome aboard!

The best way to think about is Thai you're a rookie.

The day you start saying that you know everything there is to know is the day you hang up the keys.

    That's what I wrote right? ;)

I try to never let my guard down. That's when mistakes are made.
