Under the right circumstances you wouldn't have to fib that much if at all. PA just raised the limit to 70 a couple weeks ago across most of I-80 and you can do 70 across OH and IN on the turnpike. NJ can be fast too if you leave at the right time. Trucks are all governed at 70-72 at my company.
With electronic logs that start recording drive time right as soon as you get above parking lot speeds it would be a tougher challenge though. Traffic and construction zones would kill you.
What do 4,000 miles a week look like

Couple years back, in orientation another driver was there to get his orientation on. His friend had or still has a dedicated run from Milwaukee WI to Los Angeles CA, he runs 2 weeks then takes a week off and put another driver on his truck for his week off then back at it for 2 more weeks. That's right around 4000 miles a week.
One of my favorite runs is Livermore CA to either Chicago or Indianapolis, about 2200 miles then turn and burn back. What usually happens though is I run 2200 miles this week and 4400 miles next week but that's the paychecks, and the reality is more like 3300 miles a week on average for that lane.roll_tide07 Thanks this. -
That would be a very very tough one to stay on pace with, especially heavy. Lots of hills and also some slower speed limits to contend with. One hiccup and you wouldn't have the hours to get back and you would be stuck taking a reset in Reno or something.
