Walmart here I come!

The interviews are rearly basically meet and greets, and a chance to ask questions. The pre trip, backing and driving test are all you have to worry about. As for the beard as long as it neat and groomed there is no problem, a lot of us have beards and goatees.

 

I passed the phone interview, pre-trip, road test, dot physical ( 2 years card) and took the drug screen test. My job submission status is: " Final Interview" and my ABSS status is: "competitive". What should I expect from now? And how long will take to get any news? Any advise guys please

 

Your next call will be from your HR with a orientation start date, when background is complete, and they have enough for an orientation.

 

I have no idea how that works. I'm surprised it's taking so long for your clearance. It's taking less than a month out here in CA last I heard.

My HazMat RENEWAL was submitted 14 Dec 2015 and it didn't come back from TSA until 18 March 2016.

I was told in Dec when I tested and sent the background request in that it would take 90 days and that is roughly what it took.

My initial screen took less than 6 weeks.

It makes ZERO sense that a RENEWAL would take twice as long as an initial screen. But it did.

A whole lot of new Walmart drivers have passed through this thread, including me, before starting with the company.

 

I guess I was lucky here in California. I got my prints done the Thursday before orientation, got an email I was cleared on Monday of orientation, and had my letter by the end of orientation. Here they use contractor for your application and finger printing.

 

Well I just passed my 3 month anniversary!!
