I drug that one I had around for a long time, no problems. I'd like a GD myself, but money talks.
If $26K is list, you could probably get it out the door for $23K or $24K. Presentation has a lot to do when buying. Like you walk in with $20K in twenty's, like in a 5 gallon bucket, in bundles, it works.

Yeah, the Great Danes are nice. Utility makes a good trailer. The Hendrickson suspension air ride slider suspension Utility uses is nice.

Where I work our trailer fleet is Great Dane and actually they seem really good can't say I've ever had a problem.

Like you though, just getting it going, I'd take that knew Hyundai for 4 years in a second. No hassle, and it looks good. Then when I have the coin, Lord willing, get me a hound.

Yea I like them the best too. Even the older ones seem to hold together real well.

They usually run ours about 15 years before they retire them so they keep them around a bit.

We've got a few of those newer Hyundai HT's as lease units. They're decent wagons. I would stick with Great Dane if I were buying one probably.

I've tried to convince the boss to do exactly what you did and put some money down on brand new company-owned units and cut the monthly payment in half compared to the leased units, but with the way his other drivers destroy equipment under low bridges around here maybe not. :(
