DAC Report

So if the company doesn't respond within 30 days, hire right will drop it
.... I think even they are starting to realize trucking companies lie a lot on these dac reports

 

They are bound by The Fair Credit Reporting Act as I understand it. If so, by law they have to remove it if the company does not respond.
Feel free to correct me if incorrect.

 

You're 100% correct they do have to abide by the Fair Credit Reporting Act

 

Its like those companys that remove every bad report on your credit report to get you from 500 to 700 in a few months. Just spam the companies with disputes and if they miss one then the system drops the report.

 

Before I fixed my credit that drove me nuts! Pay off all this debt for months and they don't take it off your credit report. Still battling a paid off late student loan

 

Help me understand this please. In this case Lessors lies on the report and U can't or have a hard time getting another job, then when U contest it they don't respond so Ur cleared.

Any company that does this kinda bogus reporting should be unable to continue reporting to Hireright. Hireright should be able to see that their service is being used for retribution and therefore drop companies that don't honestly report

In the meantime drivers have the very real possibility of being unable to be hired and have to follow up and contest the report for 30 days til it's dropped.

Yes it is wrong, not to mention the hardship it can cause for a driver's family and not to also mention the dangers it can cause on our highways, when a nervous Nelly driver wants to keep his job to protect his family
..... But I guess our dot officials are not thinking about this or maybe they don't have a clue about this sort of thing

most companies are starting to realize dac is far from accurate and many no longer use them (perhaps why hire right I believe is in bankruptcy. dispute ANYTHING ANYBODY SAYS ABOUT YOU in a negative way. i'm waiting for a nice class action lawsuit.
