DISCLAIMER: PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP CONVERSATION CIVIL, I DON'T WANT THIS TREAD TO BE CLOSED.

I hate doing this but was really left without a choice... (other than legal way).
My story with F2F started here and I think Members deserve to know what happened...

I found Bill and F2F here on TTR spring 2012, realized that idea about booking own freight was really interesting. (I was leased to Chicago base outfit and every day was getting closer to go underwater).
After few phone calls and personal meeting signed lease agreement in June.I quickly learned how to deal with brokers, loadbords, etc.First 2 years went great, hardly any issues. In year #3 I had maybe more than dozen late deposits but always after a few days got my money (I knew that market shifted and for small company cash on hand was sometimes an issue). Then about fall last year things turned for way worse.
Deposits were late even a week or more, when I called always was assured that next week situation will turn around, but it didn't... I still stayed, my deal, 87% of gross and 92$ weekly deduction, I believed, was good enough to try to weather out bad period. In April I learned that some people get paid before others and I was in that 2nd group...In the same time time my deposit was late about 4 weeks...That was enough...I send an email and resign....(April 27th)

To this day, I didn't get my money (about 4800$).After I quit, I called and emailed Bill and his wife multiple times, always got run around.

Today, I don't have a choice, but simply call his posting from May 7th a lie:

As of Friday we have come out of our financial issues. We cleared all pay that was owed as of Wednesday and will be back on a weekly direct deposit schedule. This has been the toughest 9-months of my life. It feels great to not only get all this behind us but to come out of it with a partner that gives us the ability to grow, has dedicated freight, back office support and loves our business model.

For having such a rough start to 2016 it is going to be the best year on many levels in the history of Farm2Fleet.

    Mark,

I'm so sorry you went through all this, its been tough to watch from the sidelines. This business is hard enough when you're paid on time -- no one should have to float their business partners money for months.

And not to lessen what they did to the others, but I got the impression Farm 2 Fleet was taking the most advantage of you because you were farthest from TN. It really pissed me off...

So I'm glad you've come forward to let people know that it is still a cycle of broken promises at F2F.

Hopefully you will recover the money owed without having to resort to legal fees, but I guess that's up to F2F.

Anyway, good luck and I'm pulling for you.

Yeah I was in that second group also. The smart ones left immediately a long time ago when the issues first arose. Those of us that stayed put continued to be disrespected and taken advantage of based on "friendship". It really sucked what happened there. Lots of people out there still waiting on money owed to them.

The 87% sounds good. That leaves the company with very little resources to pay any other employees. And if customers don't pay it is a lot to make up. Do you believe they are dealing with you honestly or do you think you are a victim of fraud?

Plus ~$5,000/year in weekly fees -- so more like 82-84%. Still a good deal if paid on time, but these guys were also among the first business partners at a risky new start-up and were on their own to find customers & loads.

    Dominick253 Thanks this.

I took a hard look at them a couple years ago, because of that gaudy number 87%. Shining like a National guitar. I didn't go with them, but only because I don't want to chase freight in the mid-west most of the time. I live in New Mexico, parking is really tough here, so I didn't go with F2F. Sure am glad now.

If drivers sue F2F owners/company, there'll only be so much money left to pay them all. It's really a pissoff to win a lawsuit and get a piece of paper for your expense, time, and effort. A hold against future earnings by the owners? Thanks a lot.
