I have always assumed that the "55 Ton" or whatever the rating is for the load. The GVWR would include the weight of the trailer.

Unloaded the excavator in Keokuk, IA yesterday afternoon, stacked up then came up to Burnsville, MN to loading this ####### thing up going to job site in Ludlow, SD.
Dye Guardian, MJ1657, soloflyr and 4 others Thank this. -
You're getting good at lding them on the beam.
Next one you can do with your eyes closed. lol -
Haha just like you guys said they are a PIA. I've done a volvo, cat and now a Deere haul truck, and this Deere was biggest PIA out of all three. I'm definitely preferring hoes, wheel loaders and dozers.

I'm fat and slow, took me about 3 hours from start to finish, taking numerous breaks cause of the heat. Hardest part for me on these is getting blocks in place between beam an machine to pick it up, and also securing it.
Front and middle aren't bad, but the back end I don't have room to tie to the normal securement places. So I get to crawl between tires and beam and run chains and binders over both axles on each side and secure them that way.
Have 10 1/2" chains and binders in it, plus 3/8" chain and binder from lifting point on dump bed to frame on machine.nwharry, snowman_w900, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
Looks like your beam was none too long for that bugger!skootertrashr6 and johndeere4020 Thank this. -
