5 years ago, I would have taken you up on that offer, heck 5 months ago I might have. But our babies have aged enough to where I get to spend enough quality mommy and daddy time with the wife again.

Man having 2 kids so close in age is rough, I wouldn't wish it upon my worse enemy. Combine that with they both take after me.

 

I was single most of my life, I roamed free but now it is the simple things in life that make me content. I was so happy to skip my shower Saturday morning and just spend an extra 20 minutes chilling and playing with the kids before work so my wife could sleep after she went out and did a 30 hour run to make us some money.

 

I've got 4 girls, 3 months, 2,5 and 8. Love them like nothing else, but there has been no mommy daddy time since the last one and it's really starting to wear me down.

 

And to think I use to think a dry spell was a couple months.

 

The sounds like a weekend at Grandma's house if possible just make sure it's not "The Wrong weekend " Lol
