transX has been on Inkster Boulevard for a million years.

 

Being home at night is priceless living in a fawkin truck is no way to to live. I used to live in truck and now am home and coudnt be happier.

 

I don't mind it 2-3 nights a week now. Lol

 

Anymore than 2-3 days you starting wondering what you're doing lol

 

There is truth here.

I wont even get started adding to it, frankly years of my life involves matching wits against bums and predators in very bad areas where God does not exist and angels are not around. There are variety of ways to survive for a few hours without getting your throat slit. Some places the very presence of that truck on my white minority ### was all that kept violence at bay.

Im damaged from that time on the road in those places. Wise as a rattler and crafty. Too bad because when I get home to my family I have to decompress in a dark basement corner away from all family contact for a couple of days before I realize there are no bad people around.

Even today the threat, guile, evil and other forms of bad things continue to evolve beyond reason.

If anything good at all I can say here is this.... Some of the places I used to deal with, I do not ever deal with again. It has taken me years before I was able to be something normal with people in the work place that have nothing to do with trucking... within reason. That and concealed carry with ongoing training.

 

I do over 90k gross. Home daily, off weekends. It is possible.

 

We grossed close to 70K but taking DOT deductions for number of service days away from home those years effectively refunded all tax. Whee!!!
