The 730 keeps crashing on me at random times while driving. I hear that ding then pops up the message with the tiny little "OK" box that I need to click before it will automatically reroute. That little tiny box I need to click is a pain while driving. I have it completely updated.

"Application Navi.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down."

I noticed that it only happens when in truck mode, once every couple hours it seems. When set to car mode I never get the error message.

My wife's 730 is doing the exact same thing. It's interesting that it only does it in Truck mode so seems to be a software glitch.I can't tell her to run in car mode though as she has no sense of direction so relies quite heavily on her gps LOL.Mark is shipping us a replacement unit so I can send her's back so he can try and figure out what's going on with it.I hope it's not an inherent problem with the 730 model so that the new unit will also crash.
    Anyways, good luck with yours.

I'm still getting the dreaded Navi.exe error and lock-ups on a daily basis. The Navi.exe always happens during start up at the beginning of the day and the lock-up is random. This is the 4th unit RM has sent me and is fresh out of warranty.

When I do a DD&R... settings.ini and zipcode usually show up as files that need repaired.

Doesn't give me a lot of faith that the next unit will be any better than the one that's acting up.I have never had these kind of problems with the 720 models so am guessing that there is a problem with the software on the 730's but will try a new one and see how it goes.

Hopefully the next one will work flawlessly for you. It's really cool that Mark is always willing to help us if we have problems.

If it hadn't been for Mark's help I would have dumped RM years ago. Although I like the GUI on the Rand best it has done some pretty strange routing and behaviour. From following this forum and this thread I don't know if any of the other GPS systems work any better so with Mark's help we have always been able to make it work.I have had Co-Pilot Truck on my phone for a few years so I'm never stuck without some sort of mapping software as I don't have a cheap roaming data plan but I really prefer using the TND product.
