drozzer69 Thanks this.

Well I'm calling tomorrow for further clarification, something definitely doesn't seem right.

I checked with my DC, and it upto the DC. The testing and stuff comes out of their budget.

Thanks for the info. It must be a spring valley policy then. Either way, it was gutwrenching to get so far, and be turned away at the 11th hour.

BTW, you mentioned your high school and college weights, but we don't know how long ago that was or how much you weigh now. Hell, I was 5'11' 165 when I graduated high school and 5'11" 175 after 9 years in the military, but that was decades ago and I'm no where near that thin now!Not trying to be a smart ###, just pointing out that your high school and college weights are irrelevant to this discussion. Unless you've just graduated, of course.
BUT, my neck circumference is well below the 18" level where I'm told the sleep apnea concern starts.
I'm curious, did they measure your neck or did they just base their decision on your BMI? As others have said, I've seen a LOT of guys who drive for Walmart whose BMI has to be AT LEAST 33.
Doesn't sound fair, but they are the employer and they get to make the rules. Give another DC a shot if there's one within 250 miles and you're willing to drive that far to/from work.Last edited: Jun 29, 2016

I never got a call for my first choice. So, I applied at one 1800 miles from home and got the call. Luckily I have family I can stay with.
