I was just up in Williston a couple of weeks ago. Traffic was thin. The truck stop had a message board full of trucks, trailers, RV's, homes, and mobile homes for sale cheap. Not a great read on the situation, but talking with the customer at delivery I was told it's still SLOW.

Ben Gunn and Milkman719 Thank this.

I run flatbed out of OKC. I started with ACME last year in May. Now we have half the trucks as last year. But this means we are BUSY. Right now the OKC terminal is looking for one more truck to pull a 48' flat and one or two hot shots.

It's all O/O. However "company" drivers like myself get approved by the company to drive an owner's truck. You are paid a percentage. Last month was my best month since starting, generating $28K to the truck.

About half my loads are local runs to and from rigs. About half are longer hauls to customer yards to Texas, Wyoming, ND, PA, and WV. For backhauls I use load boards.

PM me if anyone is interested.

I see acme pulling slb equipment up this way some times. Their our competition, I work for Marcellus Energy Services were considered 3 party. We use their trucks and run put our signs on the doors with our #'s. We pretty much run the whole cement and frac side for slb. Permitted loads especially, 99% chance will run em instead of their guys.

I'm young, 22 years old came over after a year of food service and im getting all kinds of valuable experience, lots of overweight frac pumps at 99.5k and iron floats. Gonna get my hazmat so I can pull acid tubes and blenders. Way more relaxed than humping food in nyc

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
