Meh. Nice, but not sweet. Picked up from Groveport this morning to deliver in Pflugerville, Tx 6am Monday. 1225 miles. I'll get a day off that I don't want or need. This week is a bust for miles. Hoping they can salvage this next week.

Sitting in West Memphis for my 10.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

(note: not attacking you; just being very blunt)

    Dude... Really???
    You are killing me man!!!

What have you been begging for?

    Daytime Driving: CHECK
    Long Haul: CHECK
    Not the Northeast: CHECK
    Not I95: CHECK
    Towards Texas: CHECK
    Wife in Truck: CHECK
    Monday, another Daytime Drive: CHECK

And it's only "meh... nice"??? Ok... LOL :)

    My Advice:
run it in two days to show you are a runner... Better yet, day and a half... If you are at West Memphis you knocked out 600 miles today...

Then find something fun to do in the area, call a cab, and take the wife out on a date outside the truck!!! Park in a shopping mall and take a walk or see a movie!!! Call Uber and make it a picnic in the local park!!! If nothing is in the drop area on Sunday, look for something fun along the route for Saturday and finish driving the load on Sunday.

Oh and, how did you get this sweet run? You called in and asked for it... So while you are "hoping they can salvage it" think about what you can do to salvage it... So far, you have the beginning to a very great week!!! And all you had to do was place a phone call and ask.

We may vent here, at times a lot, but dude, you have got to be part of the solution!!!

I do apologize if that came off too aggressive, that was not my intent... and I do hope that at some point you find what you seek.

Awesome!!! I don't think we have a NE Driver in our group here on TTR... Do we? I know we all will benefit from that!!! There are always questions from others looking at our NE Regional Driver or fearing the NE forced dispatch. Now we have a resource for them.

I have yet to drive a Mack...
Wonder how it differs from the others...

    Stay Safe in the NE

This load didn't have time to be backing up, we left noon on Wednesday, 2710 miles later, we delivered at noon on Friday. I have no idea if he can back up, but he sure can put 715 miles in two days in a row.

    Only 2710 in two days?
JB is off his game! :)

    Let's see, 2710 miles...
    Of which, Trainee drove 1430...
    Leaving JohnBoy with 1280...

Call Bill to get another truck ready!!!
The trainee just out drove the trainer!!!

    But seriously, awesome run boys!!!

chralb, JohnBoy and WotansVolkman Thank this.
