I haven't had any preplans but there has been a significant drop in the waiting time between end trip and getting a new load. I have been a bit quicker on the phone also which probably helped.
I am looking forward to this coming settlement to see if the quicker reloads have increased mileage. It would be nice to crack 7k. Previous best was 6800. I did have a few 2 and 300 milers so I am not holding my breath.
Truck is also due a pm so that will put a dent in productivity in the near future.WotansVolkman, MidWest_MacDaddy and Finfn1372 Thank this. -
Yeah them pms you might as well get a hotel room,if it's done in Richmond, but to crack 7000 miles you're making me look bad over here.
My first 90 days are up,now I can talk a little trash lol.
But for the most part I've averged at least 3200 a week.MidWest_MacDaddy and Redtwin Thank this. -
I got preplanned once, if I remember right. I know they can do it.

I missed a bunch of things in orientation. Are the settlements concidered to be our pay stubs?
Finfn1372 Thanks this. -
Yes believe so,haven't received any paperwork, they usually just send it to my email on Thursday

Redtwin Thanks this.

Getting ready to leave Caldwell Idaho. Got here this morning, rested, showered now an overnight run the last 650 miles to Henderson.
Can't imagine why we're both a little tired, we left Richmond at noon on Wednesday, up until 9am this morning we have run 3700 miles. Preplanning? It happens, we got pre planned yesterday 6 hours out from our delivery. You all be safe, time to roll on.WotansVolkman, 4mer trucker, MidWest_MacDaddy and 1 other person Thank this. -
7k is just a goal, one I have no clue if I will reach. I don't keep a running total of my miles so it's always a surprise come settlement time.
Another goal has been to hit 700 miles in a single driving shift, but that one I do know is impossible running on the east coast and having to use I95 during the day.
Parking is too much of an issue to risk running out my clock and winding up parked on a shoulder somewhere or called into safety for a log violation. Not for the sake of a personal mileage goal anyway. -
@Redtwin you should start keeping track of your trips, and milage in case of a payroll slip up.
And let them know you want to stretch your legs a bit trust me you start running west a little, you'll burn through those hours faster than you can get them.MidWest_MacDaddy and Redtwin Thank this.
