I could be wrong. I've personally never seen a Panera Bread tractor trailer on the roads, unless they contract the work out. I've seen adds for delivery drivers though. I checked out their website and they don't have any tractor trailer positions either in any state. I've been out of the food industry for quite some time, so things might of changed.

I've DEFINITELY seen tractor trailers (I actually see them almost every day on my route) . Panera is pretty big in my area so it could very well be a regional thing. I dunno.

Yeah, the reason why i wrote down Panera bread is that i saw one of their TT's and on the back it said hiring drivers----so i wrote it down on a piece of paper. i'm thinking that if i put my notes here i won't lose them:D

Yes, if you're talking about Republic Waste Services. Blue garbage trucks.

I had to take a few loads to the landfill several years ago. They were dry vans loaded with scrap fiberglass from a ceiling tile manufacturer. I had to drive the truck to the top of the mountain of trash, open the doors, back the trailer onto a giant hydraulic tipper, and drop the trailer on the machine so they could dump it.

The smell was horrifying. I wanted to puke and cry at the same time. I don't know how much those drivers make, but they definitely deserve more.

    Yes.

They did a build out on a transfer station near the airport, and we delivered the concrete. Their is always water or just goo on the surface near them and at them, and the stench would get in the mixer tires, and it was horrific.
I've no doubt, that is why they always have openings. I talked to a guy that works for them, they pay like 18 to 23 I believe, and have overtime.

Yeah, nowhere near enough. They'd have to pay well over $30 per hour with free health care and a pension before I'd even think about it.
