When I worked for Lowrie one of our drivers got caught cheating his logs at the dunsmuir scales. They were able to see when and where he crossed Oregon scales.

West bound Oklahoma scale on I40 west of Arkansas I heard on the cb they were closed tonight so I never disengaged my cruise and I never saw any signs about photo enforcement.

Long story short, I obviously had my picture taken since I saw the flash of the camera as I drove/flew by the coop.

Are these pictures taken all of the time just for #’s or all they used for speeding violations?

They have some lady that works in a central office and she types in truck numbers and the time that the picture was taken and you better hope your log book matches the time the picture was taken because it will catch up to you.

The original post implied that this was some sort of new thing that Oregon was doing.
    This is nothing new

And if you would of read some of my subsequent posts, you would of understood my reasons for the original post in the first place.

Besides that, how many threads on this forum have ever included a photo of a truck (by the op) crossing a scale? ;-)
